Finished Digipak

These are the Final designs for the panels of our digipak. From left to right, top to bottom front cover, back cover, inside panels.

To create these panels was quite simple. I made them all black and white and altered the opacity so the dark grey background would make the whole image a bit darker. Then for the front and back covers i added the band logo and the text. For the first inside panel i took the image and just added a filter so it became dark and all you could see was the outline and then finally for the second inside panel i took a still of the clouds from the video and also made them black and white and then changed the opacity of both the band image and the clouds so it resembled our video.

Finished Advert

For the advert I took a still of the clouds from our video then layered on a picture of the band. I erased the outside of the band so the clouds came through. Then i smoothed the edges so it didn't look as sharp. I then put on the image of the front cover and the text and turn it all black and white. We need to increase the brightness of the front cover so it was visible. I then decided that it needed colour so I looked back at the video and decided to change the colour of the clouds to red and also the date because it needed to stand out. I put an outer and inner glow of the image of the band so it increased the smoothness and faded better with the clouds and finally gave the front cover a shadow so it stood out more from the image of the band.
